Allied Universal in Gibbstown, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Mobile Patrol Driver) to safeguard a chemical/petrochemical site. You will drive patrols, monitor access, and report incidents while delivering excellent customer service. The position requires a valid driver's license and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, document patrol observations, and promptly communicate security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

This driving post includes conducting routine patrols, observing and reporting unusual activity, communicating clearly with site personnel and visitors, and delivering outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $19.67 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
