Allied Universal in Savannah, GA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time - Mornings to help safeguard clients across distribution and retail sites. You will patrol, monitor access, respond to incidents, and provide courteous customer service while upholding safety procedures and corporate standards.

This role requires basic tech comfort, badge/access control experience, and a high school diploma; 18+ years old for unarmed positions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screening may be required by Allied Universal.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by following site procedures and access-control protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution center, building exterior, parking areas, and loading docks.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entries, and maintain visitor and vehicle activity logs.
• Respond calmly to incidents and alarms, escalate concerns per site procedures, and document observations.
• Observe and report unusual activity or safety hazards to help deter security breaches.

As a Security Officer Full Time - Morningsin SAVANNAH, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution center, including the building exterior, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and vendors, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle activity records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Observe and report unusual activity, potential hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel, helping to deter unauthorized access and loss-related activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
