Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for Savannah, GA. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to boost earnings, up to 40 hours a week.

Pay rate is $16.26 per hour, with a six-month anchor commitment at a designated site. Applicants must meet minimum requirements and pass a background check and drug screen where permitted by law.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in SAVANNAH, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.26 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to associates, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑control requirements, and emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, trailer yards, and access points to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery‑driver information in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and incoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
