Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Field Reporting in Atlanta, GA. You will monitor locations, deter security incidents, and provide welcoming, service-minded support to employees, visitors, and deliveries.

Responsibilities include regular patrols, incident reporting, and maintaining clear communication with site contacts.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have X-ray screening experience, preferred.
• Have loss prevention experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, vehicle access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers, and report irregularities according to site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
