Job summary

Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio, TX seeks a Security Officer to oversee guest and employee safety. You will follow security standards, file incident reports, and assist guests with hotel facilities while on a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

The role involves acting as part of the Emergency Response Team, conducting patrols, and providing first aid when needed, with opportunities for growth within the Hyatt network.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular floor patrols, cash counts and crowd control.
• Maintain Daily Activity Reports.

Summary

Schedule Requirements:Must be available to work a flexible schedule during the week, including weekends and holidays.

Role

The Security Officer is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the hotel guests and employees. This person will followsafety and security standards and complete incident reports as required.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure the overall safety and security of the hotel guests, Colleagues and hotel premises
• Act as a member of the Emergency Response Team, responding in cases of fire, accident, safety concerns and calls for medical assistance
• Investigate and report any violations to law or hotel policy
• Provide First Aid and C.P.R. as required
• Conduct regular floor patrols, cash counts and crowd control
• Maintain computer records of all actions in a Daily Activity Report
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
