Qualifications

• Background check as per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Reporting in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor entry in accordance with established site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
