Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol) in Greensboro, NC. You will patrol, deter security incidents, and maintain a welcoming environment for employees and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service.

Role requires completing routine duties, reporting observations, and supporting site management. Pay rate is $18.54 per hour with daytime shifts across Thu–Sun schedules for full-time coverage.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or facility concerns.


• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor entry in accordance with site-specific procedures.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations as required.


• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate relevant security-related information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
