Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or residents while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas; verify credentials, screen visitors as directed, and report irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance when appropriate.
• Maintain required reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in Butner, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
