Allied Universal is seeking a part-time, experienced Security Officer (Unarmed) in Raleigh, NC, to patrol a financial institution and ensure a secure, welcoming environment for clients and staff.

You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and document activities. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, and adherence to site policies. Shifts include weekend hours as listed, with pay at $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and help maintain an orderly environment for clients, employees, and visitors.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
