Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Incident Documentation in Raleigh, NC. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, document activities, and support day-to-day operations while providing excellent customer service to colleagues and visitors.

The role requires you to handle incidents calmly, maintain logs and reports, and collaborate with site contacts. Eligible applicants should be prepared for background checks and a drug screen where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a corporate technology office by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, and assist with directing guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with client personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
