Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer, Full Time Unarmed Site Observation in Plainfield, IL. You will monitor and patrol the site, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to clients, employees, and visitors.

The role includes site access control and incident reporting within a dynamic, people-first culture. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 18+ (21+ for armed roles), background checks, and drug screening as required by law.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Site Observation in Plainfield, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, report observations, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production and warehouse areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by checking visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and maintenance concerns in required reports and promptly communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
