This full-time position requires 18.00 USD per hour, with shifts including days and evenings. A HS diploma is required, and candidates will undergo background checks and drug screening as required by law. CPR/First Aid are preferred.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law; drug screen required.

• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer - Full Time - Experience Needed in Libertyville, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout technology and telecommunications facilities, including building interiors, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts and unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations, hazards, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
