Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for full-time Personnel Screening in Mooresville, IN. You will protect clients across logistics and distribution sites by screening personnel and visitors and by monitoring access points.

You will operate screening equipment, respond to incidents, and conduct regular patrols, working evenings and nights as schedule dictates. A high school diploma and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law; licensing may be required.

• Fri 07:30 PM - 03:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access screening requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles entering and leaving the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct inspections of personal belongings, shipments, and/or vehicles as directed by site policy.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading docks, warehouse access points, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
