Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and shipments per site procedures and access requirements.
• Monitor entry points and restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and loading areas to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor access points, screen personnel and deliveries, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour Job Schedule:

Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or shipments in accordance with site procedures and access requirements.
• Monitor entry points and restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
