Join to apply for the Security Officer - Full Time, Rotating role at Texas Health Resources.

Work location: Texas Health HEB, 1600 Hospital Parkway, Bedford, TX 76022.

Work hours: Full Time (40 hours), Rotating Shift; including Days, Evenings, Nights, weekends, and holidays. Schedule created one month in advance.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s Degree in related field preferred

Experience

• 2 years in security, law enforcement, or military police preferred
• Experience in healthcare or education preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Driver's License (Class C, insurable) required
• ACPI - Annual Crisis Prevention Intervention Training
• NCSO or CSO certification (Level 2 or 3) as applicable
• TASER Certification

Responsibilities

• Patrol and secure buildings and clinics after hours
• Manage access controls and open/close doors
• Escort individuals to and from parking areas
• Identify and remove unauthorized persons
• Maintain compliance with policies
• Detain individuals involved in criminal activity
• Complete incident reports and narratives
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and coordinate with emergency services
