Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Patrol Response in Columbus, IN. You will monitor production areas, deter incidents, and provide welcoming, service-oriented security at a manufacturing and industrial site.

Responsibilities include regular unarmed patrols, credential verification, incident response, and clear reporting to site leadership. CPR certification and prior customer service are preferred; 18+ with specific licensing as required.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor records, and communicating site entry requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, patrol activities, and policy violations in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
