Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Columbus, IN. • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required logs and reports.

As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Columbus, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service.
