As a Security Officer Access Control in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor activity, and provide welcoming customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity, communicate with property personnel, and help maintain an orderly environment. Pay Rate: $15.92 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 11:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 06:30 AM - 02:45 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to commercial real estate locations by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Observe access points, cameras, alarm systems, and building activity; report suspicious activity, access-control concerns, and maintenance-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with Allied Universal supervision and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
