Job summary

PENN Entertainment in Toledo, OH is seeking motivated security professionals to join our fast-paced casino environment. You will provide Red-Carpet Service to guests, support promotions and events, and maintain high visibility patrols to ensure a safe gaming floor.

The role requires a High School diploma, strong communication, and prior customer service experience. You will respond to disturbances, enforce safety rules, and coordinate with departments while complying with state gaming

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Ability to work in a noisy environment.
• Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Ability to multi-task across posts and departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional Red-Carpet Service to guests.
• Support property promotions and events.
• Maintain highly visible patrols to ensure a safe gaming environment.
• Assure quality support to other departments so they may serve our guests more effectively.
• Escort money/chip transactions in accordance with State Gaming Regulations and Internal Controls.
• Monitor casino floor for minors.
• Respond to disturbances, emergencies and alarms in the casino and throughout the property.
• Maintain public order and enforce safety rules.
• Perform table fills/credits.
• Perform table game drops.
• Perform Bill Validator drops.
• Adhere to all Gaming Regulations and Internal Controls.
• Escort team members, visitors, vendors into sensitive areas with prior approval.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Previous customer service experience
• Able to handle stressful situations dealing with the general public
• Ability to work in an environment, which may be noisy
• Employing tact when dealing with difficult team members, guests or situations.
• Ability to identify and quickly respond to potential problems, conflicts and to defend oneself and others in combative situations
• Run on level or graded surfaces, as well as up and down stairs
• Ability to effectively and efficiently move around all work areas, including walking and standing for long periods of time
• Must possess a valid state issued drivers license
• Ability to multi-task as required, officers cover a wide variety of different posts and work with all departments
• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations, including the ability to push, pull, carry and lift to 35lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job related duties in varying work areas, such as confined spaces.
