Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Front Desk with Active Clearance in Irving, TX. You will greet visitors, control access, and support security procedures at an aerospace/defense location, serving with professionalism and integrity.

The role is full-time with a daytime to overnight schedule and requires a DoD Secret clearance. As the first point of contact, you will manage credentials, monitor systems, and coordinate with site leadership to ensure a safe, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Active Department of Defense Secret clearance required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Minimum age 21 for armed roles; 18 for unarmed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Staff the front desk and screen visitors by verifying identification and maintaining access records.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and communications systems and report unusual activity to leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site procedures, contacting emergency services when needed.
• Maintain professional front-desk operations, answer phones, direct visitors, and communicate security updates.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Front Desk with Active Clearance in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at an aerospace and defense location, you will serve as a welcoming, highly visible presence, assisting visitors, managing access, and supporting security-related procedures. You will use communication and customer service skills to help maintain an orderly environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture with integrity and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Staff the front desk and screen visitors and contractors by verifying identification, confirming authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate access records.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and communications systems as assigned, reporting unusual activity and access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when appropriate.
• Maintain professional front-desk operations by answering phones, directing visitors, documenting daily activities, and communicating security-related information to Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
