Allied Universal in Richardson, TX is seeking a Security Officer (Clearance Required, Unarmed Patrol, Deescalation) to safeguard clients across aerospace/defense and other industries. You will patrol, deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service within a collaborative, values-driven culture. The full-time position pays $19.16 per hour.

Candidates need 2+ years of security experience, an active DoD Secret Clearance, and basic computer skills. CPR and state licenses are preferred.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Clearance Required Unarmed Patrol Deescalation in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an aerospace and defense environment.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, aircraft-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor credentials in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess a state, county, or city-issued security license, preferred.
• Possess CPR certification, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
