As a Security Officer with a DoD clearance, you will welcome visitors, control access, monitor activity, and deliver professional customer service in an aerospace/defense setting.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Subject to background investigation as required by law.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front-desk policies at an aerospace and defense location.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, manage access credentials, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Answer and direct incoming calls, provide information and assistance, and communicate visitor arrivals or concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor front-desk activity, access-control systems, and/or alarm notifications; report unusual conditions or policy concerns through established channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
