Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk at a government location, greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor records.
• Monitor access to the facility, direct visitors to offices, and report access concerns.
• Answer calls, provide information, and coordinate visitor arrivals, deliveries, and service personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow reporting and escalation procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Staff the front desk at a government location, greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access to the facility, direct visitors to appropriate offices, and communicate access concerns or unusual activity to designated personnel.
• Answer incoming calls, provide general information, and support the coordination of visitor arrivals, deliveries, and service personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and follow established reporting and escalation procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
