Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent or higher education credentials as applicable.
• DD214 with Honorable Discharge or Police/Corrections Academy certificates are preferred.
• Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Age requirements: 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law; drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Pay Rate: $20.06 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a front desk within a financial institution, carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Welcome and screen visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk; report unusual activity and follow established escalation procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Assist with inbound calls, deliveries, lost-and-found inquiries, and general reception duties while helping to deter unauthorized access to the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a DD214 with an Honorable Discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a Police Academy Certificate, or a Corrections Academy Certificate.
• Possession of an Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
