Qualifications

• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients at a commercial real estate front desk while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the building, greet and screen visitors, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor records.
• Answer calls, provide directions and building information, and relay requests to building personnel.
• Monitor lobby activity, access control systems, cameras, alarms, and other security-related equipment; report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations calmly following emergency protocols.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.65 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients at a commercial real estate front desk while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the building, greet and screen visitors, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general building information, and relay requests to appropriate building personnel.
• Monitor lobby activity, access control systems, cameras, alarms, and/or other assigned security-related equipment, reporting unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and notification protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
