Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and guests at the front desk of a financial institution location while following site procedures.
• Verify visitor identification, maintain visitor records, issue credentials, and guide guests per site requirements.
• Respond calmly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies per procedures and notify appropriate personnel.
• Observe lobby activity, report unusual conditions, and deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain daily activity reports and front desk records per site requirements.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.42 - $20.42 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and guests at the front desk of a financial institution location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor identification, maintaining visitor records, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and promptly communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Observe lobby and entrance activity, report unusual conditions or suspicious behavior, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and front desk records in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
