Job summary

Allied Universal in Seattle, WA is seeking a Security Officer Foot Patrol to join our unarmed retail team. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, assist with access control, and deliver outstanding customer service to visitors and staff.

You'll work a daytime schedule with multiple shifts. The role emphasizes integrity, reliability, and the ability to communicate professionally while documenting observations using our technology.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and report observations according to site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and incident documentation while helping to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Foot Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and staff while using technology to document observations and support daily operations. Pay Rate: $23.74 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
