Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Criminal background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized access, theft, and other policy violations.
• Document observations, incidents, and completed patrols in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Access Coordination in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and team members while using technology to document security-related activities. What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
