Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Access Coordination in Seattle, WA. You will patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, support access control, and deliver outstanding customer service while using technology to document security-related activities.

The position offers a daytime schedule with competitive hourly pay of $23.74, plus benefits. All qualified applicants will undergo background checks and a drug screen as required by law.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen per law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to deter unauthorized access and theft.
• Document observations and completed patrols per reporting procedures.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized access, theft, and other policy violations.
• Document observations, incidents, and completed patrols in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
