Allied Universal in Washington, DC is seeking a Security Officer Flex Rapid Deployment. You will patrol sites across healthcare, education, finance, and more, with shifts that vary week to week.

The role offers 30–40 hours per week, paid at $25.13 per hour, with opportunities for growth within a leading security company. 21+ for armed roles; 18+ for unarmed. Training and support provided.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Be able to travel required distances.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department if needed.
• Warn violators of infraction rules (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Permit authorized persons to enter and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents or incidents.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site orders.
