Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Unarmed Patrol for Reston, VA. The role supports a variety of client sites with irregular shifts that may be scheduled with little notice, averaging 30–40 hours weekly and a pay rate of $21.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Willing to travel for branch flex assignments.
• Must be 18+ (21+ for armed roles) and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required; licensing may apply.
• Valid driver7s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or in vehicle.
• Notice irregular or unusual conditions and report safety concerns.
• Sound alarms or summon police or fire department when needed.
• Warn violators and enforce site rules.
• Monitor entrances and exits and verify authorized access.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
