Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Governance in Northampton, PA. This role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our platform, enabling higher earnings. It emphasizes access control, badge management, and customer service while maintaining site security.

The position provides flexible hours with potential to grow toward a full-time schedule up to 40 hours per week, depending on shifts chosen and site availability.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with access control systems and badge management.
• Proficiency in using computers or tablets.
• Prior customer service experience and ability to provide a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while following security procedures.
• Monitor and control access points at a logistics/distribution location, checking credentials and entry requirements.
• Maintain accurate access-control records for visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with site contacts or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas and surrounding perimeter.
