Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Kiosk in Northampton, PA, to provide reliable access control and superior customer service at a logistics site. The role offers fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up extra shifts through the Earn More program, designed for flexible, part-time hours.

The position requires basic computer skills, badge management experience, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

Access control and badge management experience.
Proficiency using computers or tablets.
Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor records, and help control entry and exit of personnel, drivers, and vendors.
Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Document observations, incidents, and access-related activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
