Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of galleries, collection areas, public spaces, entry points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist guests with directions and site information.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and report observations per site procedures.
• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations per site requirements.

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of galleries, collection areas, public spaces, entry points, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and site information, and help support a welcoming environment for guests and staff.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
