Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Milwaukee, WI to safeguard clients across utilities locations. You will provide customer service, patrol the site, monitor access, and respond calmly to incidents while following policy and reporting procedures.

This full-time, unarmed role offers a daytime schedule and opportunities for growth, benefits, and a collaborative team environment. Training and ongoing support are provided to ensure safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities-related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, perimeter, and access points to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and policy violations accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
