Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Milwaukee, WI to protect clients across industries and uphold our customers' safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances and perimeter to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Complete required reports and communicate observations and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Complete required reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
