Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer in Milwaukee, WI. You will provide customer service, monitor access, and patrol assigned areas at a telecommunications and technology location.

Ideal candidates have customer service experience, a high school diploma, and are at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles). A background check and drug screening are required where permitted, with licensing as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a telecommunications and technology location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or facility conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and direct authorized individuals in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and coordinate with appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities in required reports, logs, and/or electronic reporting systems.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
