Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Financial Center location in Denver, CO. You will provide security services, monitor entrances, and respond to alarms while delivering excellent customer service to tenants and employees.

The role is unarmed at a commercial real estate site with a full-time schedule and a pay rate of $26.00 per hour. EPA compliant training and adherence to site protocols are required to ensure safety and calm problem-solving in critical situations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site protocols and notify appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management and credential verification.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security concerns in site reports.

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to alarms and security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, credential verification, and enforcement of site entry procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
