Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part-time Security Officer - Enhanced for Denver, CO. This role offers flexible hours with fixed shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to grow.

You’ll patrol, assist customers, respond to incidents, and follow site procedures with professionalism. A valid driver’s license, a high school diploma, and a background check are required; drug screening may be conducted.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store staff per site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail areas, entrances, and parking areas.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report observations per site procedures.
• Assist with access control, traffic flow, and emergency evacuation as directed.

As a Security Officer Retail Patrol Driver in Denver, CO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and/or store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, potential loss‑prevention concerns, and hazards; report observations and incidents according to site procedures.
• Assist with access control, traffic flow, and/or emergency evacuation procedures as directed by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
