Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Perimeter Patrol in Denver, CO. You will monitor terminals and perimeter areas, provide exemplary customer service, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $22.00 per hour. You will conduct shifts that run overnight from Monday through Thursday, supporting safety for travelers, employees, and visitors while following site procedures.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background check in accordance with laws.
• Employer conducts drug screening as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents and suspicious activity in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify airport personnel or responders as directed.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of terminals, curbside, parking, baggage, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities and communicate information to supervisors.

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned terminal, curbside, parking, baggage, and perimeter areas, with working conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access or unusual conditions according to site-specific policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
