Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer for a Training Campus in Denver, CO. You will safeguard clients across various industries, including transportation, by performing patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and delivering strong customer service to travelers, employees, and visitors.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer working overnight shifts, you will help deter incidents, follow procedures, and report security

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check is required by law for employment.
• Drug screen may be required as a condition of employment.
• A valid driver's license may be required for driving positions.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following airport and transportation facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned terminal areas, employee spaces, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, and policy violations.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and appropriate site contacts.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
