Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by Allied Universal.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report per procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of airport facilities, terminals, parking areas, and access points.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials when required, and report unauthorized access or policy violations.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.

As a Security Officer Access Control in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service to travelers and staff. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities, terminal areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials when required, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
