Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Unarmed) in Moncks Corner, SC. You will manage access points, verify credentials, greet visitors, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

You’ll work a daytime schedule with subsequent shifts, earning $17.47 per hour. The role requires a valid driver’s license for applicable positions and a background check per policy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while performing site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor records, and direct guests per procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify security concerns and document them.
• Deter unauthorized access by monitoring entry points and reporting issues.

A Security Officer Facility Warehouse - Unarmed in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will manage access points, verify credentials, greet visitors, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate clearly with employees and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor records, and direct guests in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including business operations and perimeter locations, to identify and report security-related concerns.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing activity at controlled entry points and reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, or maintenance concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
