Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Access Verification in Moncks Corner, SC. The role focuses on managing entry points, verifying credentials, and supporting badge access while delivering excellent customer service.

Position is Full Time with a pay rate of $17.50 per hour. Applicants should be able to work night shifts and comply with driver policy requirements where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points at an automotive location, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access-control records.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
