Position Overview:

This position requires the person to patrol the casino floor, the hotel, and the parking facilities or be stationed at a post to ensure the safety of the Casino patrons, Hotel guests, employees of the Company and to protect the assets and property of the company. The position also ensures compliance with all Federal and State Laws and the Rules and regulations of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Essential Job Functions:

• Performs specific security duties as assigned in accordance with the established internal controls and procedures of the Company.
• Responds immediately to all incidents, illegal activities or any other emergency situations.
• Assists Casino patrons and Hotel guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Establishes a strong positive relationship with State and Local law enforcement members.
• Continually monitors their assigned area for safety hazards that could endanger patrons, guests or employees.
• Investigates all complaints, incidents and illegal activities and prepares proper reports and advises Superiors of same.
• Administers First Aid within acquired training and ability.
• Presents a positive personal image and attitude.
• Works closely with Surveillance personnel to prevent loss and damage to Company assets and property.
• Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications Essential Requirements:

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older upon employment.
• Strong organizational and leadership qualities, interpersonal skills and dedicated commitment to excellence.
• Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the employees throughout all levels of the Mount Airy Casino Resort.
• Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid license as required by the PA Gaming Control Board.
• Must demonstrate leadership, fairness and sensibility to the customers and employees.
• Must be a High School graduate or have a GED.

ADA Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino.
• Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 120 lbs.

Other Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license as required by the PGCB.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required with occasional travel.
• Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.
