Allied Universal, Oceanside, CA, seeks an experienced Security Officer for Unarmed Patrol in a healthcare environment. You will patrol facilities, deter incidents, and provide welcoming service to employees, visitors, and patients.

The role is full-time with a shift schedule including nights and weekends; prior security and CPR/First Aid are preferred. Allied Universal emphasizes growth, training, and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening will be conducted as a condition of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; notify site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with credential verification and entry requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with policy.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and patients. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare and research environment.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, access issues, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with credential verification, directions, and entry requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
