Allied Universal in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Security Officer at a biotechnology site on a part-time basis. You will provide unarmed security, monitor access points, and support staff, visitors, and patients with professionalism and care.

This role offers flexible day and night shifts, opportunities to learn our shift-claim platform, and a pathway to growth within a trusted national security company. Prior security experience is preferred, with a focus on customer service and safety.

Formación

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare and research-related facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access or policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
• Complete accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:
