Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer with unarmed patrol experience in Saint Louis, MO. You will monitor sites, perform routine patrols, and deliver excellent customer service while upholding the company’s values.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background check and drug screen are required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer and vehicle parking areas, access points, the business perimeter, and other assigned locations.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and report unauthorized activity or unusual conditions.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.98 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
