Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed Deterrence Patrol) in Saint Louis, MO. You will patrol facilities, deter incidents, and ensure a safe environment for employees and visitors. This role emphasizes customer service, vigilance, and adherence to site policies.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facility interiors, loading areas, trailer yards, parking lots, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain logs of arrivals, departures, deliveries, and unusual occurrences.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and notify site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Observe and report potential hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and policy violations per procedures.

What You'll Do:
