Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a part-time Unarmed Driver Patrol Officer in Louisville, KY. You will perform patrols, monitor access, and deliver customer service with a visible security presence at a logistics and distribution site.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, HS diploma, and the ability to work Saturdays and Sundays. Pay rate is $18.75 per hour, with a schedule that aligns to the weekend shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and personnel per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of distribution areas, docks, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor facility access, verify credentials, document activity per procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies with calm, clear escalation.
• Observe and report hazards, property damage, or policy violations and log incidents.

As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter, with working conditions varying throughout the location.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders as required.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, damaged property, and policy violations, while completing accurate activity logs and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
